To everything turn turn turn

Well if only it were truly fall... And not 88 degrees. Things are changing around here. Arabelle stopped breastfeeding and also became 100% easier to "put to bed". She cries for her bed now come
7pm. This is very odd behavior for one of our children but I'm enjoying it as well!

Owen is needing more support at bedtime/ nighttime/ 2am so we are thankful that they aren't both consistently waking up.

He also is going to need a heart cath in October, right before Halloween, so there is that on our mind and hearts. He doesn't know yet. We are going to pull him from school to stay healthy so we can plan and get it taken care of as scheduled.

We have had a blast of a month. Camping, then to Portland, then a baby shower weekend this past weekend, and a wedding this weekend. We've had colds and the computer is flaky with uploading photos but I've surprisingly been able to mop the floor every few days (this is a new behavior) and keep the fridge bursting with healthy eats.

In other news we've lost our beloved rooster dzintar... And a week later another chicken who had a respiratory virus of some sort. The rest of the hens (down to 7 now) seem to be fine, and I even got 3 eggs the other day. That hasn't happened in months.

Quick update, so sad no pictures, but soon I'll go back in time to document our trip to Portland without the babes! It was so wonderful to have complete freedom but also odd to be without them and together. This was our second time away in two years and it was uber fun! We missed them so but they had a total blast with cousins.

Off to bed, sweet dreams to all~
