Didn't finish posting about Christmas cuz the other post was long

Turns out when you're having loads of fun there are loads of photos! The computer and photo uploading stars aligned today so this was an easy process, yay!

One of Owen's top gifts was a t-rex mask. It is a family favorite. Chris wore it in the car on the way to the Britton/Staydohar compound and they got a kick out of us driving up with a dino chauffeur.
 Sips of tea between presents
Owen had a 10$ budget to spend on mom, dad, ara, papa, and Mat at the santa store at school. He was very excited to put the bag under the tree. We didn't peek at it and on Christmas morning we had some thoughtful gifts. His gift to Arabelle was very sweet. She really loves the Mickey Crew and he picked out a Pluto stuffed animal for her. I'm usually pretty anti-stuffed animals but wow this one is a keeper!

Classic kitchen pose with these lovelies
The group photos got a bit out of control as usual.

I love ara's weird arm in this photo. Mat and I are channeling our inner gangster.
Here too Mat and I were on the same page.  There is too much to even talk about going on in these photos.
And then a sweet family photo finally and Mat is backing up looking like he's tooting on Owen. We were laughing so hard at this one afterwards!!

Christmas at Grandma's- minus Dave. Dave had an icky headcold so he stayed home while we had a full day up at grandma's. We were SO BUMMED that he stayed home. Yes it's nice for the germs to be away, but I wish he could have felt up to coming anyway. He ended up sleeping most of the day so that was good for him.

Grandma made a special hot cocoa treat for the kids.

 Sips, sugar, smiles
lots of snuggles, good eats, and relaxation
Chris made it clear to Marsh a few days prior that he wanted to be sure there was enough bacon for us all. Marsh made it happen. Chris was on bacon duty and he did a great job. At home I get some anxiety around cooking bacon as it is a special occasion food and I never want to burn it! Baking it has helped but gas ovens are a little uneven at times. Chris did great and we all had enough bacon! It was very nice to just show up and not bring a single thing food wise! Thanks to mom and Court shopping the day before at Holiday Market.
